Data Center Leadership Forum

On June 26, we held the first Data Center Leadership Forum in Madrid, to reflect on a strategic issue in the implementation and operation of Data Centers: attracting and retaining talent.

In a sector that is clearly expanding, there are many challenges: technical, regulatory, communication, economic, sustainability, management. At JG we want to modestly contribute to the development of the sector, and for this reason we are calling for this forum for debate and proposals, which we hope will continue and where we want to address strategic issues in the sector.

In this sense, the best management of human resources is critical, since those who design, build, market and manage data centres are people, and it is not easy to organise and maintain a competent, cohesive and long-lasting human team. To guide the debate and reflection we have counted on the valuable participation of Eduardo Conde Muntadas-Prim, partner at Seeliger y Conde – Kingsley Gate, a leading company in Spain in the search and evaluation of management talent. It was a very pleasant debate where interesting opinions and ideas arose, which lasted throughout lunch.

For JG it was a perfect day to be able to talk with the top representatives of companies and agents in the Data Center market, such as Global Switch, Nabiax, Equinix, Data4Spain, AWS, AQ Compute, and to have the presence of the Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of the Community of Madrid, Silvia Roldán, who encouraged and encouraged us with her ideas for the development of our sector.
